ExportPro Suggested Backup Strategy

As with all business critical data and setup files, it is absolutely essential that ExportPro files are backed up regularly - ExportPro Ltd data and user configuration files are an essential part of your exporting process when you use our software - we therefore insist that users make regular backup copies of files as we suggest below.

Which ExportPro files to back up?

            How often?

ExportPro recommend that your files are backed up every day  - include them in the standard daily backup routine.  We also advise regular integrity checks of the backup, to ensure a quick and efficient restore, should one become necessary.  

            Which files?

expro.mdb database file - typically installed on your server, or in your local C:\export folder in the case of single user system or PC acting as server

The complete \data directory, as installed either on your server, or again, in your local C:\export folder 

bullet

C:\windows\expopro.ini
