We have received the following correspondence from one of our customers who has found a much cheaper alternative to the PDF file creator from Amuniyi. We have checked it out and it appears to work OK. Just like the Amuniyi solution
"Dear Lisa, I trust you are well. I refer to our earlier correspondence regarding the issue of how to send Exportpro documents as email attachments. You had suggested that I contact Amyuni in France to obtain their PDF driver for $129-00. Luckily I did not immediately contact them. In the meantime, I have just discovered a utility which does the job just as well - and the bestpart is that it is free and available to anyone to download!. It is called Hotsend. More information is available at the following web site:-
This utility is outstanding. It works on 2000, NT 4, Win 95, & Win 98 and along the same lines as the PDF driver. In order to create an attachment, you have to print selecting the hotsend email attacher driver. Any attachments can be sent with its own built-in viewer so the sender can be sure that the beneficiary will be able to open and read the file - even Macintosh users can open these files. I have been sending my Exportpro files to my customers for a few days now using this utility and it works really well. Please find attached an example of how a file with its viewer is received. I would suggest that you download the utility (1.8 MB) and try it out. Let me know what you think. The only drawback is that some large network servers may delete an .exe attachment (file with built in viewer) for security reasons and this may cause a problem.
Many thanks and best regards Azim"
